overview
Between the Branches is an illustrated narrative exploring the idea of continuity beyond loss. Through an intimate story, it follows a character who leaves the world yet remains as a quiet presence - watching, accompanying and protecting those left behind.
approach
I developed the project through both original writing and illustration, creating a visual language that balances absence, memory and hope. Rather than portraying loss as an absolute ending, the narrative explores it as a transformation - a different form of connection that continues beyond physical presence.
